I love glass, but I don’t have a lot of money to spend on new lenses. For that reason, I have really come to enjoy Lenshero.com. It’s a web site where you put in your camera body and your budget, then it walks you through a series of questions on what you have, what you are missing, and what you are thinking about getting. You can also enter in what lenses you already own. Then voilà! It hooks you up with lots of different options, reviews, and all sorts of things.
If you are a photographer on a budget (and who isn’t?), check this out!

Here are a couple caterpillar pictures I took that I’m pretty happy with. Enjoy!
This is an HDR rendition of two pics I took with my iPhone 4. It was taken near sunset. In one pic I auto-focused to the sky, and in the second pic toward the children. I used HDRtist to combine the two photos together. While the result isn’t spectacular, it’s still a pretty fun technique.
